Push down & turn

Text

First, let me just say that these are just mere thoughts, aren’t meant to offend someonelse. It’s just merely my perception and I’m not going to argue with anyone. so, don’t bother.

If you really want to bring the jobs back. ONLY buy AMERICAN made products. DEMAND American made products. Sure they will be more expensive, but the money stays here! Buy local food, support local restaurants, businesses.

If you keep buying items made in china, japan, indonesia, malaysia, etc a portion of the money goes to those countries and the rest is pocketed by our fellow rich. Put a tax on imported items.

We are also killing businesses by buying products for cheaper online. Find it in the store, buy it from amazon.

What about that girl who helped you for an hour trying on those perfect pair of jeans? Then you go out and buy it online. The money doesn’t go to her, who slaved away as you acted like an ass.

What about that very, very patient bookseller who helped you find that book that was blue and about business, but you could remember anything else? They found it anyway, you thumbed through it, bent the spine a little (oops, no longer sellable.), put it back on the shelf in the wrong place, and went home to buy it on amazon? Well, if they worked for Borders or for a lot of Barnes and Noble or some small bookstore in town… they probably don’t have a job anymore.

Also, support your fellow American, be willing to give up a little if it helps out your neighbor.

Example:

Last year, working teachers in the bay area were given an option. Tenured teachers could lower their salary a little and everyone gets to keep their job or tenured teachers keep their pay and untenured teachers had a very frightening chance of losing their jobs.

Result: Tenured teachers chose to keep their salary and watch others lose their jobs.

Sure.. you may say this should have never happened, but it did. There are examples of this all over the place.

WE ARE ALL GREEDY HERE! WE ARE ALL ABOUT SELF PRESERVATION!

What about the people in the United States too? It seems like we keep helping people from other countries, but not helping ourselves.

We have children here who need homes and families.

We have people here starving in the streets.

We have American teenagers/adults here who want to go to college but can’t afford it.

We have qualified jobless Americans here! Why are we bringing over qualified foreigners to do a job someone here can? (I’m not talking about Mexicans. I’m talking about Chinese/Indian workers from abroad working in our medical/engineering/science/computer fields.)

I’m all for even taxation with for all, but watch where you tread and be sure you have a back up system. This is the American system and it’s the same people we have now, who will rewrite the law. Do you really think there will be a change?

Because the only thing I see happening with the Occupy movement, is the price of goods skyrocketing, American jobs going overseas by the abundance, and the poorer still getting poorer.

There needs to be a social change along with a governmental change!  We need to be willing to help each other in order to help ourselves.
